Indian Army inaugurates newly constructed multipurpose hall

Imphal, April 11 2025: The Indian Army dedicated a newly constructed Multi-Purpose Community Shed to the residents of P Molding Village in Kangpokpi District of Manipur.

According to a release issued by the PIB (Defence Wingg), the community shed has been designed as a central hub for the village, that will facilitate public meetings, cultural programs and social gatherings.

Given the limited infrastructure in remote areas, this initiative is expected to significantly enhance community engagement and connectivity.

In a simple ceremony the Red Shield Division handed-over the facility to the village authorities in presence of the villagers and Army officers.

The village authorities and community members extended their heartfelt appreciation for this noble initiative.
