Central Ministerial team visits Thoubal

Thoubal, June 10 2024: A Central Ministerial team took stock of the damage caused by the heavy hailstorm in May month at Thoubal district.

The 4-member Ministerial upon reaching the Thoubal District Headquarters held a meeting at the conference hall today attended by ADM, Thoubal B Lokeswor Sharma and district level officers.

The team checked the reports submitted by the storm affected people and the subsequent departmental inquiry reports.

Later the team inspected the affected sites across Thoubal district Dr Badal Bishwakarma Animal Husbandry Department; Dr Jintu Das, Department of Agriculture and Family Welfare (DA&FW) and Dr Shivcharan Meena, Niti Aayog were among the members of the team that visited the district today.
