PMSBY enrolment drive launched

Imphal, October 07 2026: Celebrating 25 years of public service of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, an insurance enrolment initiative under the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) was launched at Sagolband today as part of the ongoing Seva Setu Abhiyan.

The programme, launched under the initiative of MLA RK Imo Singh, is aimed at delivering benefits of Government welfare and social-security schemes directly to the people at the locality level.

Sagolband Constituency Progressive Committee (SCPC)/BJP Sagolband Mandal will facilitate the enrolment process and assist eligible residents in accessing the schemes, while also supporting the payment of the applicable PMSBY premium for eligible beneficiaries covered under this initiative.

Depending on the final number of beneficiaries,the premium support is expected to amount to approximately Rs 3-4 lakh, said the committee.
