Moirang, September 07 2025: The 3rd Langban Hesoi Tamba ritual to pay homage to martyrs who sacrificed their lives during the ongoing ethnic violence in the State was solemnly observed at Chengei Pat today, where rich floral tributes were offered in their memory.

The event was organised by the Moirang Apunba Meira Paibi Ima Lup (MAMPIL) in collaboration with Kege Moirang Apunba Lup (KEMKAL), Apunba Nupi Lup (ANUL) Moirang Branch, Manipur Chanura Lamjing Lup (MCHALL), Machasing Apunba Mama Lup (MAMAL) and Arambai Tenggol Moirang Unit.

Families of the departed, along with people from across the State, gathered to honour the martyrs.

During the ceremony, volunteers of Arambai Tenggol Moirang Unit saluted the martyrs, followed by the observance of a one-minute silence by the gathering in remembrance of the departed souls.
