Imphal, August 07 2024: The Internal Quality Assurance Cell of GP Women's College, Imphal organised an induction programme for BA/BSc (Honours) 1st Semester students of the academic session 2024-25 at its Central Hall today.

It was attended by GP Women's College, Principal, Hijam Romi Devi; Department of Physics, Head and College Student's Union vice president, Dr M Bidyasagar and Teacher's Forum, GP Women's College president and Department of Botany, Head, Dr Akoijam Nirmala as presidium members.

During the programme, new students of BA/BSc (Honours) 1st Semester interacted with the teaching and non-teaching staff of the college.

IQAC co-ordinator Dr Md Baharuddin Shah elaborated on the prevailing system in the college while Political Science Department, Head, Dr K Indrakumar Singh and English Department, Asst Prof A Heniya Devi spoke on the benefits of NSS and NCC schemes to students.

Mathematics Department, Head, Dr S Samarendra and Manipuri Department, Head, Dr Waikhom Romesh also spoke on scholarships, schemes and career opportunities for students.
