MASTEC to host Disaster Management Workshop

Imphal, July 07 2026: The Manipur Science & Technology Council (MASTEC) will organise a 2-day State Level Training Workshop on Disaster Management on July 30-31, 2026 at the MASTEC Complex, Takyelpat.

As per a release issued by MASTEC, the programme aims to make young volunteers aware of disaster preparedness in order to reduce the impact of disasters on human life, property and the environment.

Key features of the workshop include invited lectures on common disasters prevalent in the state and live demonstrations on rescue operations, firefighting and other emergency response techniques.

Interested volunteers from clubs, organisations and individuals can obtain the prescribed application form from the MASTEC office or download it from the website "mastec.nic.in".

The last date for submission of duly filled forms at the MASTEC office, Takyelpat, is July 25, 2026 .

Enrollment will be on a first-come, first-served basis until seats are filled.
