Four accused remanded to 15 days judicial custody

Bishnupur, December 06 2025: In connection with a fatal hit and run case on November 29, the Bishnupur CJM Court has remanded four accused persons to 15 days judicial custody.

The accident occurred around 3:50 am near Moirang Sendra Road Boat House under Moirang police station and took the life of Phairembam Mikoichand Singh from Moirang Mayai Leikai.

Two of the accused persons are from Langthabal while the remaining are from Mayang Imphal and Naharup Makha Leikai.

According to reliable information received by The Sangai Express, the four accused persons were arrested and the vehicle involved in the hit and run (Hyundai i-20) was seized on the night of December 1 by Moirang police.

After remaining in police custody, the four were produced before Bishnupur CJM Court today where they were remanded to 15 daysjudicial custody.
