KADUCO condemns Saiton attack, demands high-level probe

Kakching, January 05 2026: The Kakching District United Club's Organisation (KADUCO) has strongly condemned the alleged bombing attack that occurred at Saiton Nganukon, resulting in injuries to civilians, and expressed grave concern over the safety of people in the State.

KADUCO in a statement said that the unfortunate incident took place in an area where security forces are in numbers, which clearly indicates that the lives of civilians are not adequately secured.

The organisation alleged that instead of effectively wiping out narco-terrorism, they are being given a free hand above the law.

It asserted that the government must not remain silent over the incident and should immediately constitute a high-level enquiry committee to investigate the matter and ensure that those responsible are punished under relevant laws.
