Noney launches VB-G RAM G scheme
distributes new job cards to beneficiaries

Noney, July 04 2026:
The district administration of Noney on Saturday officially launched the VB-G RAM G Scheme at the Deputy Commissioner's Office Complex in Longmai, marking the implementation of the new rural development programme in the district.
Launching the scheme, Deputy Commissioner Noney, Vidhyamari Sridhar highlighted the key features of the new scheme, which replaces the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) .
He urged all villages in the district to make maximum use of the scheme to strengthen rural livelihoods and accelerate developmental activities.
As part of the launch, the Deputy Commissioner also distributed newly issued job cards under the VB-G RAM G Scheme to beneficiaries from Longmai Block, enabling eligible households to avail themselves of the benefits under the new initiative.
Officials from the district administration, block authorities and village representatives attended the launch programme, reaffirming their commitment to ensuring the effective implementation of the scheme across Noney district.
