Imphal, June 03 2024: The Federal Students' Organisation-Kangleipak (FESOK) has submitted memorandums to the Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) and relevant authorities seeking action against three unrecognised private schools operating in the State.

In the memorandum submitted on Monday, FESOK urged the Council & authorities concerned to take immediate action and halt operations of three unrecognised private schools- Islamic English Higher Secondary School, Lilong, Thoubal; BEACON Higher Secondary School, Konung Mamang, Imphal East; and NSKDES Higher Secondary School, Itam Nungoi, Imphal East.

A release signed by T Sadananda, secretary publicity, FESOK, also cautioned that all the consequences will be borne by those defying the request of the organisation to not run schools without the recognition of COHSEM.
