Imphal, May 02 2026: The Imphal Naga Business Association (INBA) has appealed to all organisations to cease making monetary demands from shops and business centers affiliated with the association.

Speaking at a press conference held today at the Manipur Press Club, INBA general secretary BT Bezaleel highlighted the severe hardships faced by shopkeepers and small business owners amidst the ongoing crisis in Manipur.

He emphasised that these individuals, who depend on their businesses for survival, are already struggling due to the ongoing turmoil in both the hill and valley districts.

Stating that the situation has taken a heavy toll on their businesses and that making monetary demands only exacerbate their suffering, he called for understanding and urged all groups concerned to refrain from imposing such demands on the local business community.
