GC CRPF celebrates National Unity Day

Imphal, November 01 2025: The Group Centre, CRPF Langjing, Imphal proudly organised the National Unity Day on Friday to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the architect of national unity and integrity.

As per a release issued by CRPF, the event was held to honour Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's significant contributions towards the unification of the Nation.

The celebrations began with a Run for Unity from GC Campus to Tera Bazaar and back.

The DIG, GC Imphal inaugurated the Run for Unity, which saw enthusiastic participation from officers, personnel and their family members.

Later, a pledge taking ceremony was also organised under the aegis of the IGP, M&N Sector.

At the event, the IGP, M&N Sector briefed about the importance of National Unity Day, emphasizing the critical role played by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in the integration of the country.

He highlighted the need for every citizen to embody the values of unity, integrity and dedication toward building a strong and united nation.
