PNB Singjamei Branch inaugurates new premises

Imphal, September 01 2026: Punjab National Bank's Singjamei Branch inaugurated its new branch premises at Singjamei Chinga Mathak, Nameirakpam Leikai on August 28 .

The new premises was inaugurated by Director, Institutional Finance, Government of Manipur, A Subhash Singh by cutting the ribbon.

The function was also attended by Director, Planning Department, Manipur, Dr RK Radhesana Devi and Circle Head, PNB Imphal Circle, Upendra Kumar.

Speaking on the occasion, Upendra Kumar said the Singjamei Branch has been shifted from Singjamei parking to the new modernised building with new furniture and modem amenities to provide better banking experience.

He said PNB currently has 25 branches in Manipur, of which 10 are being shifted or renovated with new infrastructure.

He said branches outside RIMS, JNIMS, Paona Bazar, Bishnupur, Thoubal and Moirang will be upgraded.

PNB targets to increase branches from 25 to 35 in the current financial year, with new branches planned at Palel and Churachandpur.

A Subhash Singh stressed the importance of soft skills in retaining customers and business growth.
