Lions Club of Thoubal Greater Centurion holds 8th charter night cum installation ceremony

Thoubal, August 01 2025: The 8th Charter Night ceremony cum Installation programme for the Board of Directors of the Lions Club of Thoubal Greater Centurion for the Lionistic year 2025-26 was held on Thursday at the Seminar Hall of Waikhom Mani Girls' College, Thoubal Okram.

The event was attended by PMJF IPDG Lions Clubs International, Dist-322D, Lion Th Kesho Singh, as chief guest; Installation Officer and President Lions Club Thoubal Greater Centurion, Y Guneshwari Devi as president and Lion M Gojendro Singh PDG Lions Clubs International, Dist-322D; Lion O Jugeshwor Singh, PMJF, Region Chairperson, Region- VII and Lion Naorem Uttamkumar Singh Zone XIV Chairperson as guests of honour.

The programme commenced with the lighting of the charter lamp by the chief guest, and observed a minute of silence praying for world peace.

A floral tribute was also paid to the portrait of late member the Club, Loukrakpam Ningol Leishangthem Ongbi Ahanbi Leima, as a mark of respect.

M Neswari Devi, secretary of the club, presented a report highlighting the various activities carried out by the Lions Club of Thoubal Greater Centurion since its inception.

The event also witnessed the induction of newly elected members into the club, administered by Lion M Gojendro, PDG .

Later the dignitaries and installation officer, Lion Kh Kesho Singh conducted the installation of the Board of Directors of the club for Lionistic year 2025-26 and honoured the charter members.
