Imphal, October 31 2024: The District Legal Services Authority, Chandel under the aegis of Manipur State Legal Services Authority conducted a one day Legal Awareness Programme at St Joseph's Higher Secondary School, Kuraopokpi, Machi Block.

Speaking at the event, Fakhrul Islam Choudhary, JMFC of Moreh said, DLSA Chandel has been continuously providing free legal aid to the people.

He also talked on the roles of PLVs who act as a intermediaries between the people and law Courts.

At the event, Keishang Kopham, remand Advocate, DLSA Chandel spoke on the topic "Function of Legal Services Institutions," Phunshimdar Dangsha, Advocate spoke on "Media Law" and Kohai Angshil Tontanga, Advocate spoke on the topic "JJ Act" as resource persons.
