SAHS holds awareness role play on 'Monsoon Health'

The Department of Community Medicine, Shija Academy of Health Sciences (SAHS), Langol organised a community health awareness role play on "Monsoon Health: Don't Let Rain Make You Sick" at Awang Sekmai Khunou Mathak, Imphal West today.
The programme was conducted by MBBS interns posted at the Department of Community Medicine in collaboration with Community Health Centre (CHC), Sekmai as part of their Compulsory Rotating Medical Internship (CRMI) posting at Rural Health Training Centre (RHTC).
The initiative aimed to create awareness on prevention and control of vector-borne diseases during monsoon.
Through the role play, the interns highlighted common health risks associated with the rainy season and emphasised preventive measures to protect individuals and families.
An interactive session followed the role play where faculty members and staff addressed queries from community members and provided information on preventive measures.
The programme was well received by the community, with participants appreciating the initiative and expressing interest in similar programmes in future.
