TYCM seeks extension of Horticulture job application deadline

Imphal, June 30 2026: The Tribal Youth Council Manipur (TYCM) has urged the Department of Horticulture & Soil Conservation, Government of Manipur, to extend the last date for submission of application forms by 10 days for various posts notified on June 10, 2026.The notification invited applications for Assistant Agriculture Officer/Equivalent, Field Assistant, LDC/Office Assistant-cum-Computer Operator, Fieldman, Mali, Peon, Peon-cum-Chowkidar, Chowkidar, and Laboratory Attendant, with June 30, 2026 fixed as the deadline.

TYCM said many job seekers could not submit forms due to long queues at the Directorate and delays in approval of ST, Domicile, and Permanent Residence Certificates by SDOs.

A representation was submitted to the Commissioner (Horticulture & Soil Conservation) on June 30 seeking redressal.
