Governor pays visit to Sendra, INA Museum

Manipur Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya paid a visit to the IWT Complex at Sendra, Loktak Lake, today where he was warmly received upon arrival by Minister for Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) and Consumer Affairs Food & Public Distribution, Leishangthem Susindro Meitei and Moirangthem Asnikumar, Chairman, Loktak Development Authority (LDA) .
According to a statement issued by the Governor's Secretariat, the Governor expressed his admiration for the stunning beauty of Loktak Lake and commended the efforts of the LDA for their dedicated work in preserving and enhancing this unique ecological treasure.
Later, the Governor proceeded to the Indian National Army (INA) War Museum in Moirang where he was greeted by Th Shanti, Moirang AC MLA, and other officials.
The Governor also paid tribute to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and took a tour of the INA Museum which houses an array of relics and memorabilia.
His visit continued with a stop at the historic INA Headquarters in Moirang.
On the occasion, Governor emphasized the importance of remembering the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters and encouraged the citizens to draw inspiration from the legacy of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and build a better future for India.
