In a heartwarming display of camaraderie, Assam Rifles joined their fellow troops of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in celebrating their 86th raising day at Sangaithel today.
The day was commemorated with greetings, best wishes, and a shared cup of tea between the two forces, said a statement by the Assam Rifles.
The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) was established in 1939 to tackle the threats of internal security and conduct anti-Naxal operations, making it the largest central armed police force in India.
Assam Rifles, the oldest paramilitary force in India, took this opportunity to strengthen their bond with the CRPF, recognizing the tireless efforts of their fellow troops in maintaining peace and security in the strife tom Manipur.
