Imphal, October 26 2024: The Freshers' Meet cum Cultural Fest 2024 of Inpui Students' Union, Imphal (ISUI) was held today at Tarung Community Hall, Imphal under the theme "Together in Harmony".

The event was graced by BT Alan Inpui, Senior Intelligence Officer, Ministry of Finance, Government of India and social worker Romeo Khumba na the chief guest & guest of honour respectively.

Speaking on the occasion, ISUI convenor Bezaleel Bariam said that the Freshers' Meet cum Cultural Fest was organised with the aim to promote the traditional songs & dances of the Inpui community.

He also elaborated on the importance of organising such events to preserve & promote the traditions and cultures of the indigenous communities.

All Inpui Students' Union (AISU) president, Lanhung Bariam; Inpui Naga Union (INU ) president, Merachao Inka; ANS AM joint secretary, Lungjo Bariampaan; RIMS, Associate Professor, Dr Linda Marangmei; AGI (D), FCI, FSD Sangaiprou, Silas Khumba; INU former president, Akhown Khumba; ANS AM former general secretary, James Inka; former ADC Member, Thambou Bariam and Lt Col Shem Khumba of the Indian Army also attended the Freshers' Meet cum Cultural Fest as special guests.
