Dr IM Singh's 'Exploring the Vanishing Self' released

Imphal, September 26 2026: "Exploring the Vanishing Self", a book authored by Dr Irengbam Mohendra Singh, was released today.

The book release function, held at Langol Warok Leikai, was attended by former MLA and former Vice-Chancellor of Manipur University Prof (Dr) Ng Bijoy, retired Lieutenant General (Dr) Konsam Himalay, Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Babina Hospital Dr Th Dhabali, Chairman cum Managing Director of Imphal Heart Institute Dr Kh Ratankumar; retired Lieutenant Colonel Moirangthem Ranjit and former Director of CCDU, PHED, RK Dilip among others.

The author is currently in London.

Addressing the function virtually, Dr Mohendra said that the book reflects his experiences and observations in old age.

Saying that the book explores how thoughts and perspectives change over time, he added that it is not only about his own experiences but also seeks to reflect the experiences of others in old age.
