Career counselling programme held at Yairipok to inspire young aspirants

A one-day career counselling programme on the theme "Honouring Excellence, Inspiring Generations", was held today at Yairipok Tulihal Toupokpi, organised by the Sahil Foundation.
The programme, held at the foundation's campus, was attended by several distinguished personalities, including retired Colonel and intending candidate of Lilong AC, Mohd Sahid Khan; SDO/BDO of Bungte Chiru, Md Hefajuddin; former Asst Commandant of ITBP and Asst Professor at Thoubal College, Labuktongbam Nurshafi AK; MPSC achievers Mohd Aman Nawas and Md Anish Khan, who secured 56th and 117th ranks respectively in the recently declared MPSC examination; and Zonal Based Officer of Central Bank of India, Meinam Shareef Ahmed; as presidium members.
The dignitaries were felicitated by the foundation with mementoes and certificates in recognition of their achieve- ments and contributions.
During the programme, the speakers shared valuable insights on career planning, and motivational speeches, where their addresses were attentively listened to by the students and parents present at the event.
Delivering keynote address, Syed Zabir, Principal of Foundation, stated that the programme was organised to felicitate achievers and inspire the younger generation to set clear goals and work diligently towards achieving them.
He emphasised that in today's highly competitive environment, it is essential for students to adopt effective strategies and remain focused.
He further added that the foundation has been striving to prepare students for success in competitive examinations by adopting innovative teaching methods that distinguish it from other institutes, with the aim of bringing positive change in society.
