Imphal, September 25 2025: Launching the three-month Atmanirbhar Bharat Sankalp Campaign in the State, BJP Manipur Pradesh spokesperson and the campaign convenor Preshow Shimray has appealed for collective effort to ensure its success.

The Nationwide campaign will run from the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya on September 25 to the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on December 25.Speaking to the media at Thambal Shanglen in Nityaipat Chuthek, Preshow Shimray shared that the objective of the Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self Reliant India) Sankalp Campaign is to promote and use locally-made products to create a self-reliant country.

The campaign also seeks to promote indigenous products, encourage small industries and support local entrepreneurs.

The campaign will reach different districts of Manipur, where various related events will be organised.

Saying that creating a self-sufficient economy by promoting and using indigenous products is the only way to ensure self-reliance, he sought public support to make the campaign a success.
