Special outreach programme on VB-G RAM G, Bar Ghar Tiranga held at Heirok

The Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Regional Office, Imphal, under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, organised a Special Outreach Programme on VB-G RAM G and the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign at Ngarouthel Community Hall, Heirok Part-III, on Tuesday.
The programme aimed at creating awareness about the objectives and benefits of VB-G RAM G and encouraging greater public participation in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
Thongbam Hemchand Singh and Devjoy Yumnam, Executive Engineers of the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department, Government of Manipur, attended the programme as resource persons.
They highlighted the objectives of VB-G RAM G, rural livelihood opportunities and implementation challenges, while stressing the need for coordination among government agencies, local bodies and beneficiaries.
They also underlined the important role of Gram Sabhas in ensuring effective implementation of the scheme.
An interactive session was held during the programme, allowing community members to raise queries regarding the implementation, eligibility, benefits and responsibilities under the scheme.
Moirangthem Rustum Singh, Assistant Director and Head of Office, CBC, RO Imphal, and Dr Nongmaitrem Reena, Field Publicity Officer, CBC, RO Imphal, also attended the programme.
As part of the outreach initiative, theme-based songs and a play on VB-G RAM G and Har Ghar Tiranga were presented by the CBC departmental troupe in association with a private registered troupe.
The performances highlighted messages of rural development, public participation, national unity and respect for the national flag.
A spot quiz competition was also organised as a feedback activity to assess participants' understanding of and engagement with the issues highlighted during the programme.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from the local community and stakeholders and combined information, interaction, feedback and cultural activities to promote the objectives of VB-G RAM G and the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
