Meiphung celebrates 10 years of Tangkhul film production

Ukhrul, September 23 2024: Meiphung Production, Ukhrul commemorated its 10th anniversary of Tangkhul film production at TBG-125 Hall Alungtang, Ukhrul.

In his keynote address, Aning Ruivah, CEO of Meiphung Production elaborated his journey of film making from 2014 and successfully producing nine Tangkhul films.

He also thanked the three Tangkhul MLAs, including Ukhrul MLA Ram Muivah and Phungyar MLA Leishiyo Keishing for their unceasing support to sustain Meiphung Production.

On the occasion, Ukhrul MLA Ram Muivah lauded Meiphung Production and went on to mention that cinema is considered as a soft power medium to influence the people.

Meanwhile, Phungyar MLA Leishiyo Keishing stressed on the technology innovation in making films for better marketing and to succeed in the box office.

The anniversary witnessed a myriad display of musical pieces from Tangkhul artistes.
