Imphal, August 23 2024: Art and Culture Commissioner, M Joy flagged off the cultural delegates of Manipur who are going to participate in the Namaste Vietnam Festival from Government Dance College, Konung Mamang today.

The 12-member delegation will attend the Namaste Vietnam Festival which will begin from August 25, 2024 at Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam.

Speaking on the occasion, M Joy said that the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh had extended an invitation to the cultural troupes of Manipur to perform during the festival organised by the Indian Consulate as part of the Act East Policy.

He asserted that the festival will provide an important platform and opportunity to showcase the rich cultural heritage of Manipur.
