NH-37 drivers' body applauds agencies for safe recovery of stranded trucks

The NH-37 Commercial Transport Drivers' Welfare Association has expressed sincere appreciation to various agencies and individuals for their coordinated efforts in safely recovering a heavily loaded truck that met with an accident at Ijei Bridge in Noney district on December 21 .
According to a press release issued by the association, the incident occurred around 6.36 pm when the truck rammed into the bridge railing and remained precariously stranded at the edge of the bridge throughout the night, posing a serious threat to public safety and traffic movement along the busy NH-37 .
The situation required immediate and professional intervention, following which a joint operation was carried out through the timely efforts of the District Administration Noney, PMU-Noney, NHIDCL, ABC Infratech Pvt Ltd, Ganpati Company, Noney District Police, CRPF, local CSOs and members of the public.
The truck was subsequently pulled out safely with utmost care and technical expertise.
The Association stated that the prompt response and strong spirit of cooperation displayed by all stakeholders ensured the successful resolution of the incident and helped restore normalcy in the area.
On behalf of the transport fraternity operating along NH-37, the Association expressed its gratitude to all concerned for their dedication, support and selfless service, terming the collective effort a commendable example of commitment to public safety and emergency response.
