Free health camp at Ithai benefits over 300 residents

Imphal, March 20 2026: Shija Hospitals & Research Institute, in collaboration with NHPC organised a free health camp at Ithai, Bishnupur district, bringing essential healthcare services directly to the local community.

Shija Hospitals & Research Institute Pvt Ltd in a release said that the camp aimed at improving access to quality medical care featured expert consultations across multiple specialities, including Psychiatry, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Paediatrics, and ENT.

General physician services were also provided by NHPC medical personnel.

A total of 311 individuals attended the camp, receiving comprehensive health checkups and essential medicines free of cost.

In addition, free spectacles were distributed to those in need, ensuring both preventive and corrective eye care support.
