"National Unity Building Day" observed at Lilong

As observed across India under the initiative of All India Tanzeem-E-Insaf (AITI), National Council, "National Unity Building Day" was observed at Central Idigah, Lilong Haoreibi Turel Ahanbi under Thoubal district today.
The event organised by ATTI, Manipur State Council was graced by AITI, Manipur State Council, president, Dr Badaruddin, Forum For Restoration of Peace in Manipur, convenor, Ashang Kasar, Hericon former president, Longjam Ratan Kumar, Social worker for Nepali community, Kharang Tamang, Forum For Restoration of Peace in Manipur, co-convenor, Md Islam Makakcha, United Meitei Pangal Committee, president Alhaj Moulana Muheijuddin, AITI, National Council, National secretary.
Md Islahuddin and retd Forest Ranger, Alhaj Sayed Ahamed as presidium members.
Addressing the gathering, Md Islahuddin, National secretary of AITI, National Council stated that December 19, is the day when freedom fighter, Asfaqulla Khan and Ram Prasad Bismil pridefully sacrificed their lives for the motherland.
The day is celebrated as National Unity Building Day to create a sense of nationalism among different communities residing in the country, he added.
