Awareness programme on Drug Control held at Thoubal

Thoubal, June 16 2026: The District Health Society, Thoubal, in association with Health Care Centre, Thoubal, organised a one-day awareness programme on the theme "District Roadmap for Drug Control" at the Health Care Centre, Thoubal.

The programme featured Dr RK Kamala Devi, District Nodal Officer of the National Viral Hepatitis Control Programme; Dr Y Bijendra Singh, District Nodal Officer, District Health Society, Thoubal; and Dr Jahiruddin, Drug Inspector, CMO Thoubal, as resource persons.

During the event, the speakers delivered informative sessions on HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B and C, and measures of drug abuse prevention.

The programme was organised with the objective of promoting public awareness and strengthening collective efforts towards creating a drug-free society.
