RK Imo sponsors students for Class X revision course

Imphal, December 15 2025: Following the successful sponsorship of 20 students, including youths from IDP families, for NEET and JEE coaching with financial assistance of Rs 20,000 per student amounting to Rs 4,00,000, under the initiative of RK Imo Singh, MLA of Sagolband AC, the Youth Empowerment and Skill Development Programme continues.

its commitment to ensuring that deserving students are not denied opportunities due to financial constraints.

Building upon this commitment to educational upliftment, the MLA has taken up the sponsorship of another 20 students from Sagolband for "Class X Revision Course 2025", for students who are preparing to appear in the upcoming Matriculation Examination 2026 .

As per a release issued by the office of the Sagolband AC MLA, the total cost of the programme is Rs 1,20,000, out of which Rs 50,000 has been extended as advance to MTS Tutorial Centre, Sagolband Thangjam Leirak Machin.

The support is aimed at strengthening the academic foundation of students at a crucial stage of their educational journey.

These initiatives, undertaken under the leadership of the MLA, are rooted in the belief that education remains the most powerful tool for empowerment, not only uplifting students but also strengthening families & the society at large.

Many of these students aspired to pursue quality coaching but were held back due to financial hurdles.

This support seeks to bridge that gap and nurture the future pillars of Sagolband and Manipur.

The initiative reaffirmed the MLA's vision of making Sagolband one of the most developed constituencies in all sectors, especially health education.
