Bishnupur, February 15 2025: The Manipur Peoples' Front (MPF) organised a free one-day eye camp at Saiton Bazar in Bishnupur district providing much-needed eye care to 200 patients from the area.

Sponsored by Dr Helena Eye Care Centre, North AOC, 17 ophthalmologists rendered their medical services to the public at the eye check-up camp.

Spectacles were also distributed free of cost to the patients after the necessary check up.

Patients who need cataract operations can get the operation done at the lowest possible cost.

According to Laishram Chamba Meetei, president, MPF, the Front has been conducting such eye camps and other public welfare initiatives in areas battered by the conflict.
