Jiribam, January 15 2025: The 15-day workshop on Manipuri Nata Sankirtana and Pung Cholom concludes today at Jaribon Kala Academy Auditorium Hall, Assam.

The 15-days workshop on Manipuri Nata Sankirtana and Pung Cholom was organised by Jaribon Kala Academy, Lala, Hailakandi Assam in collaboration with Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy Imphal, Manipur and Manipur State Kala Academy, Imphal.

The closing ceremony of the workshop was attended by Th Benubabu Singha, president of Jaribon Kala Academy, Lala, Hailakandi, Pukhram Bilash Singh, director of JN Manipur Dance Academy and Birola, member of Language Advisory Board, Sahitya Academy, New Delhi as presidium members.

At the event, participants of the workshop programme showcase Pung Cholom, Nata Sankirtan.

Lauding the participants of the 15-day workshop, the chief guest urged the participants to promote and preserve the culture and tradition of Manipur.
