Tengnoupal, August 14 2024: With the detection of some probable cases of Dengue in Tengnoupal village, the Department of District Malaria Office Tengnoupal carried out fogging exercise at important places in Tengnoupal on Tuesday.

Fogging was carried out at the residences of probable Dengue cases, DC Office and quarters, Assam Rifles campus, BSF campus and Police Headquarters campus.

Larval Source Reduction (removal or permanent destruction of mosquito breeding sites) along with Information, Education and Communication (IEC) activities were also conducted.

The Department will further carry out a fogging drive at suspected places in due course of time.
