Mothers Pride Academy joins National financial literacy assessment

Bishnupur, June 12 2026:
Mother's Pride Academy, Kwasiphai, Bishnupur, has taken a significant step towards promoting financial literacy among students by participating in the National Assessment Test(NFLAT), scheduled to be held from June 12 to 14 .
Conducted by the National Centre for Financial Education (NCFE), Mumbai, NFLAT is a nationwide online examination aimed at enhancing financial awareness among school students.
A total of 447 students from the academy will take part in the assessment, including 255 students from Classes VI to VII in the NFLAT Junior category and 192 students from Classes IX to X in the NFLAT Intermediate category.
The school stated that its participation reflects a commitment to preparing students not only for academic success but also informed decision-making in everyday life.
The assessment will cover key areas such as money matters, banking, insurance, investment, pension, financial inclusion, taxation and consumer protection.
Throughout the programme, students are expected to gain practical knowledge on budgeting, saving, digital payments, safe banking practices, insurance, investment basics, government schemes, consumer rights, and protection from financial frauds.
The Principal, staff and management of Mother's Pride Academy extended their best wishes to all students appearing in the assessment.
