AMNM Thoubal condoles demise of Lisham Pramo

Thoubal, June 10 2025: The All Manipur Nupi Marup, Thoubal Area Committee convened a condolence meeting on Sunday to mourn the passing of Lisham ongbi Pramo, former State Councillor & District Secretary of All Manipur Nupi Marup, Thoubal Area Committee.

Lisham Ongbi Pramo, 59 years who hailed from Thoubal Kiyam Siphai, breathed her last on June 7 due to a personal illness.

Pramo, who worked selflessly to achieve equal rights for women, took part in various agitations led by the Nupi Marup.

During her school days, she also joined All India Students' Federation (AISF) and fought for the rights of students.

Sharing the pain and grief of the bereaved family, the All Manipuri Nupi Marup.

Thoubal Area Committee, secretary H Ibetombi said that the demise of Lisham Pramo who firmly believe in participation of women in governance is a great loss for the society, which cannot be filled.
