Kangpokpi, June 10 2024: Coach Education Program, Manipur 2024 - a Youth Coach Level 1 Certification Course training program conducted for 20 aspiring coaches concluded today.

The training program which began from June 2, 2024 in Dreamland Turf Ground, Keithelmanbi was organised by the District Administration Kangpokpi in collaboration with the TENVIC Sports under the aegis of the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of Manipur.

Today's valedictory ceremony was graced by the senior officers of the District Administration led by Mahesh Chaudhari, IAS, Deputy Commissioner Kangpokpi.

The DC congratulated the trainees and urged them to use their newly acquired knowledge to nurture sports at the grassroot level in their respective districts or villages.

He also expressed his appreciation for the Head Coach Chitra Gangadharan and TENVIC Sports staff Archirt BM for their efforts in training the coaches.

He highlighted that Kangpokpi is the first district in Manipur to successfully complete the Coach Education Program, Manipur 2024 and gave special recognition to Vasant Bharadwaj, Co-Founder of TENVIC Sports.

The DC also handed out passing certificates to all the trainees, marking the end of a successful completion of the training programme.
