Waikhom Mani Girls' College observes 45th foundation day

Thoubal, February 09 2025: The 45th foundation day of Waikhom Mani Girls' College was observed today at the seminar hall of the college.

At the event, meritorious students of the college and teachers were also felicitated.

The event was attended by, Superintendent of Police, Thoubal, Dr Sarangthem Ibomcha as chief guest, Waikhom Mani Girls' College, Principal, Professor Hanjabam Manoranjan Sharma as president and Manipur University, College Development Council, Director, Professor Hanjabam Sukhadeba Sharma and Waikhom Mani Girls' College, General Body, president, Waikhom Ranjit as guests of honour.

As part of the event, the dignitaries offered floral tributes to the statue of the late founder and to the portraits of late founder members.

At the event, faculty members who have published research papers and students who have excelled in various fields were felicitated with gold medals, cash prizes, certificates and traditional shawl by the dignitaries.

Speaking at the event, SP Thoubal, Dr S Ibomcha lauded the effort of the teachers for their service and dedication in guiding the students and making them successful.
