CMHT card holders denied benefits

Imphal, December 06 2021: MLA K Ranjit has asserted that recipients of CMHT Card have raised complaints about not being given the benefits provided by the health card.

The statement was made by the MLA at the inauguration ceremony of a newly constructed community hall today at Khongyam under Sugnu AC.

It may be noted that the community hall was financed with an amount of Rs 20 lakh from the Local Area Development Fund.

Elaborating further, MLA K Ranjit stated that a CMHT card holding patient from Sugnu who was admitted at JN Hospital was moved to Raj Medicity as their illness turned serious.

As per the family members, the individual who is currently recovering from a head surgery has not received any benefits provided by the CMHT card, the MLA relayed.

The MLA further added that 6/7 months ago a patient from Wangoo Khunou who had undergone treatment at Shija Hospital had also raised a similar complaint about not receiving any benefit from the CMHT card.

K Ranjit accused the BJP led Government of deceiving the public so close to the election and urged the people not to fall for their advertising campaigns.
