Science Teachers' Forum Manipur celebrates Golden Jubilee

Imphal, September 05 2026: The Golden Jubilee celebration of Science Teachers' Forum Manipur was held at the conference hall of Manipur Science Centre, Takyelpat today.

Science Teachers' Forum Manipur president Ngangom Kesho, vice presidents Chabungbam Mobi and Nabakumar Yumnam attended the function as presidium members.

As part of the celebration, the Science Teacher Award 2026 of the Forum was conferred on Soibam Brojendro, Principal of Brilliant Public School, Shamurou, with cash and citation in recognition of his contribution.

Speaking at the function, Ngangom Kesho conveyed best wishes to the people of Manipur on the Forum completing 50 years.

He said members of the Forum, since its inception, have been visiting schools, colleges and universities to discuss various topics on science.

The Forum has been conducting seminars, workshops, exhibitions and awareness programmes beneficial for students.

He said the Forum comprises renowned science experts from different parts of Manipur.

He appealed to share their knowledge and work together with members to farther strengthen the scientific movement in the State.
