Imphal, June 05 2026: The Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, observed the day at Dental College, Second Campus.

Director Prof G Sunil Kumar Sharma, Medical Superintendent Prof N Sanjib Singh, Dean (Academics) Prof L Rajesh Singh, and Nodal Officer, SAP/Kaya Kalp, Prof Y Govindaraj Singh, attended.

Prof Sharma linked environmental and human health and announced plans for campus electric vehicles.

HODs, faculty, students, and staff took part in a plantation drive.

Shija Hospitals & Research Institute Pvt Ltd held a "Shija 2026 - Forging Ahead.

Rising for the Nation" plantation drive with Little Millennium, Lamphel.

Led by Jt MD Dr Chetan Khundongbam, 35 students and staff planted saplings at new blocks.

CMD Dr Palin Khundongbam, a HELP regional leader, called for greener healthcare.
