Imphal, March 05 2025: The Yairipok Thambalnu Shahitya Marup cum Library (YTSMCL) has condoled the sudden demise of its former president, Ibotombi Khumancha on March 3, 2025 due to a personal illness.

He was 73 years old.

The YTSMCL in a release has stated that Ibotombi Khumancha played a significant contribution for the welfare and development of the organisation and also completed the construction of the YTSMCL office building during his tenure.

He also published two poetry books and was a BDO, said YTSMCL.

YTSMCL members convened a condolence meeting today in honour of Ibotombi Khumancha and observed a two minute silence for the departed soul to rest in peace in the heavenly abode.
