William Maram of Manipur honored among best POs at National Conclave

In a proud moment for Manipur, William Maram, Project Officer at the District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), Senapati, was recognised as one of the best Project Officers (POs) of ITDAs/DRDAs across the country.
The accolade was presented during the National Conclave for Strengthening ITDAs/IDPs, held at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi, on June 3.William Maram, son of the late Disong of Naga Taphou village, was nominated for this honor by the Tribal Affairs & Hills Department, Government of Manipur, to the DAJGUA division under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India.
The nomination cited Maram's exemplary work during his tenure at DRDA Senapati as Project Officer.
He played a pivotal role in implementing flagship rural development schemes such as the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS), Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G), Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY), and PM-JANMAN .
