Anunay Anand takes charge as DC of Pherzawl

Pherzawl, June 03 2026: Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Anunay Anand on Wednesday formally assumed charge as the Deputy Commissioner of Pherzawl, marking a significant administrative transitionin the district.

He succeeds Mannuamching, who had been serving in the role since February 2025.Anunay Anand, an IAS officer of the Manipur cadre, is expected to continue efforts aimed at improving governance, public service delivery, and developmental initiatives in the district.

His assumption of office comes at a time when several flagship schemes and community-focused programmes are being implemented in Pherzawl.

The handing-over ceremony was attended by district officials, staff members, and well-wishers, who extended a warm welcome to the incoming Deputy Commissioner while expressing appreciation for the outgoing officer's dedicated service.
