NCC training resumes in State

Imphal, June 03 2024: The NCC Directorate, Manipur resumed training activities on April 15, 2024 for the training cycle 2023-24 after going through challenges for almost a year owing to the ethnic conflict in the State.

The training is scheduled to be completed by August 15, 2024.Thereafter the training for the year 2024-25 will commence on September 15, 2024.The decision to resume the NCC training has been implemented on the direction of the Director General NCC in the interest of 7200 NCC cadets of the State covering 16 districts and 95 institutes.

The State Government and Spear Corps has been in the forefront by supporting the training activities along with Assam Rifles deployed in the State and the State Police committing to provide administrative support and security cover during conduct - of camps and examinations.
