Imphal, February 02 2026: The 13th Cancer Warrior Support (CWS) Presentation event was held today at Manipur Press Club, Imphal.

The event was jointly organised by Share & Care, Wangkhei Ningthem Pukhri Mapal and Friday Chuhing, Konung Mamang, in connection with the 53rd birth anniversary of late Longjam Ashalata Devi, who passed away due to cancer.

The event was graced by dignitaries, including RK Nimai, retired IAS officer; Prof RK Lenin, founder of Share & Care and chief patron of Friday Chuhing; O Sarita Devi, Assistant Professor, Kakching Khunou College; Nongthombam Roma Devi, Programme Executive (Coordination), Akashvani Imphal; Raichanda Chingtham, Programme Executive, Akashvani Imphal; and Longjam Lokendro, owner of Friday Chuhing.

Following the tradition of assisting cancer patients every year, three patients were provided with financial assistance during this year's event.

Offering of floral tribute to a photograph of late Longjam Ashalata Devi was the other highlight of the event.
