Festival of Sankirtan held at Haorang Sabal

Thoubal, March 01 2025: The Festival of Sankirtan organised by Manipur Arangpham Development and Cultural Institution (MADCI), Haorang Sabal, was held at Haorang Sabal Makha Leikai community hall, on Friday with Sangeet Natak Akademi awardee Nameirakpam Tiken Singh and MADCI advisor Abujam Jatidhwor Meetei as chief guest and president respectively while Smart Security Service secretary Laimujam Pratap Singh and ACRT, Thoubal president Sagolsem Singhajit Singh were the guests of honour.

Speaking on the occasion, Tiken opined that organising Festival of Sankirtan is highly relevant in today's era, as it will contribute to preservation and promotion of the rich traditions of Sankirtan passed down by the ancestors.
