CADA's awareness campaign continues

Imphal, November 30 2025: As part of its ongoing effort to curb the abuse of drugs and alcohol, Coalition Against Drugs & Alcohol (CADA) organised an academic awareness programme on the theme, "Mayai Kaba Nisana Maheiroi Khunaida Piba Cheitheng" at Wangoi Higher Secondary School, Imphal West district today.

The programme was graced by CADA president Hijam Priyokumar and Dr Md Wahajuddin, Senior Lecturer, Wangoi Higher Secondary School as presidium members.

At the event, CADA secretary general Takhellambam Geetchandra Meitei said that CADA has been conducting awareness campaigns to educate the people especially the youths/ students about the menace caused by the widespread use of drugs and other intoxicants.

Expressing concern over the increasing cases of drug abuse in the State, he called for the public support in the fight against drug abuse to bring forth a healthy and developed society.
