CRPF organises free medical camp, feast for inmates

Jiribam, May 31 2024:
In a bid to address the medical concerns of flood affected residents of Jiribam taking refuge at relief camps opened at Ema Keithel and Kalinagar Primary School, 87 Battalion Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Jiribam organised a free medical camp today.
Apart from rendering free medical consultations to around 170 inmates, the 87 Bn CRPF Jiribam also organised a feast for the inmates.
Speaking in connection with the noble initiative, Tapan Kumar, Commanding Officer (CO) of 87 Bn CRPF Jiribam said that the free medical camp and the feast has been organised for the flood affected inmates taking refuge at these two relief camps with an aim to extend best possible support to them amid these difficult times.
He further informed that similar medical camps will be organised in other relief centres opened in Jiribam district.
