"Cong will be back in power"

Imphal, August 30 2026: Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) treasurer and ex-MLA Md Fazur Rahim has claimed that the Congress party will return to power in the State in 2027 .

A reception function was held today at Irong Chesaba community hall where newly elected office bearers of MPCC and Kakching District Congress Committee, and a number of people who have joined the Congress party anew were felicitated.

Speaking at the function.

Md Fazur Rahim said that people are fed up of BJP's double-engine Government at the Centre and the State.

Saying that the people of Manipur no longer support the BJP Government, the ex-MLA claimed that there will be a Congress Government in the State in 2027 .

While asserting that the incumbent BJP MLA of Wabagai AC has not yet taken up any noteworthy development work in the Assembly segment, Fazur Rahim appealed to the voters of Wabagai AC to elect him in the 13 th Manipur Legislative Assembly election.

Even though BJP invested huge amounts of Manipur in Wabagai AC in the last Lok Sabha elections, people voted en masse for the Congress candidate because the people were aware of BJP's lies.

MPCC general secretary Bankimchandra said that the communal character of BJP is becoming more and more vivid.

He said that the BJP has been working to transform India into a Hindu-exclusive country.

MPCC general secretary Ningthoujam Popilal highlighted the BJP Government's failure to control the ongoing Kuki-Naga violence and bring an end to the Kuki-Meitei conflict.

He warned that there will be total anarchy in Manipur if BJP remains in power for long.
